We do not have a mailing list & never sell or pass on our customer's personal information to any third party.

All personal data that we collect via email in relation to queries, bookings & orders is kept safe via password protected software on our computer.

Terms & Conditions

All products and services supplied by Calon Lân Cakes are subject to the following terms & conditions. By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to these terms.

Booking Procedure

We provide a quotation based on your needs and numbers and we ask for a 50% non-refundable booking fee to secure a booking which is payable via BACS transfer. A booking is not secured until this payment has been made. This booking can be made on approximate numbers.

Final numbers and details are confirmed 5-6 weeks before your event/wedding and the remaining balance payable no later than 4 weeks before. If this final payment is not made in a timely manner, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and the full booking fee payment will be retained.

The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes in size, style, flavour or quantity of your order. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations

If the cancellation is made by yourselves –

More than 4 weeks before your event/wedding – full booking fee to be retained.

Less than 4 weeks before your event/wedding – full booking fee and remaining balance to be retained.

**Each cancellation will be judged on its own merit and we can apply exceptions in certain circumstances**

In the very unlikely circumstances that we have to cancel -  

More than 4 weeks before your event/wedding – full booking fee to be returned.

Less than 4 weeks before your event/wedding – full booking fee and remaining balance to be refunded.

COVID19

We will always work closely with customers who need to postpone/move the date of their wedding/event, due to the above virus.. This includes a customers decision to postpone or a venue closure. We will move a booking if we are able to accomodate a new date. However, if we are already fully booked for the new date, our cancellation policy (as above) will apply.

Due to the rising costs of ingredients etc, prices for a moved/postponed booking will be charged at our current prices.

We will also follow advise from the relevant health authorities. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries in relation to this matter.

Inclement Weather

We will always endevour to deliver your order as arranged. However, there may be circumstances where this isn't possible i.e. heavy snowfall/flooding. If we are unable to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control, we will endevour to transfer your booking, but will not be in a position to offer a refund. Our decision to travel will be based upon advise from the appropriate authorities and whether we feel our safety is being put at risk.

The some policy applies in relation to collections from us. We strongly advise all customers to take out Wedding Insurance to cover such eventualities.

Allergens

It is the responsibility of you, the customer, to inform us of any specific dietary requirements (i.e. nut allergies, gluten free, vegan), which we will endeavour to accommodate. Any requirements will be discussed fully during the booking process and confirmed when the final balance is payable 4 weeks before the event/wedding.

Our products are supplied with full allergen information and it is your responsibility to make this information available to your guests. Dietary specific products are labelled accordingly. We cannot be held responsible if our products are consumed by guests who are likely to suffer a reaction to any of the ingredients we use.

Images in relation to our Website and Social Media

All photographs displayed on this website, our social media pages, and anywhere else we share them, remain the property of Calon Lân Cakes and should not be used by any other persons.

We reserve the right to take photographs of our products to be used on our website and social media pages.

Please advise us if you do not wish for us to use images taken by us prior to your event/wedding.

You agree that all images displaying our products will not be used to promote any other businesses with the exception of the photographer and/or videographer retained at your event/wedding, without our prior written consent.

Collection, Delivery and Courier Services.

We can arrange collection of your order from our kitchen at no extra cost. We can provide a delivery service for which a delivery charge applies, depending on distance..

We can also courier selected products to most areas of the UK and are happy to provide a quotation for this. We wrap and package our orders very carefully and we dispatch orders in time for the specified delivery date. However, once your order is in the hands of the courier service, we have no control over the delivery process. If delivery does not take place on the specified date, no refund shall be given.

We also, cannot be held responsible for our products once they have been collected from us or delivered to a specified address.

This will be discussed during the booking process and confirmed when the final balance is payable 4 weeks before your wedding.
